Hi, there,
welcome! I created this blog on 05/08/2014 to talk about blogs in general and
tips, general subjects and my several non-profit blogs. I’m an incorrigible
blogger, I’ve been a translator for more than 20 years, and I write articles
and chronicles.
I never seem to remember to talk about this on my blogs, but where did the word “blog” come from? The term “blog” is a contraction of "web log", basically a site where we can post logs of activities and subjects. In that sense, “blog” is also a verb, and “blogging” and “blogger” are modern times terms which have been incorporated to the language too.
This blog has a version in Portuguese,
called Blogando com TJ, where I comment about several subjects and the blogs
which are in Portuguese, but it’s my intention that both blogs are different
from one another. Its link and the links to all my other blogs and to my
bilingual page on facebook, called Escrita_Writing, and to the one I have on
Twitter, Writing_Escrita, are on the right side of the blog layout.
As I say on the brief description above, I enjoy family,
friendships, books, movies, angels, dragons, rock, walking, the sea, nature,
animals, etc., and I intend to talk about all that here on Blogging with TJ and
much more. I also love to write, and that’s the main reason for having so many blogs,
though I try to conciliate them with my busy routine as much as it’s possible.
I enjoy the creation and maintenance of a
blog, starting with the choice of the perfect template (and all of mine are
free and from the excellent Deluxe Templates) and continuing to the posts
themselves. It’s a pleasant activity that enables our creativity to flow out and
gives us the chance to share a bit of ourselves with others. I hope this is such
a enjoyable blog to visit as the opportunity for me to keep it indeed is.
As it couldn’t be differently, I conclude with
a phrase that has become part of all my blogs because that’s the sensation I
have here and I hope to transmit it to visitors. The sense of being on the
extension of a home.
Wherever
you are, feel at home here.
